My name is Nuria Martinez,

I never wanted to be a creative person, I just was one.
I was creating stuff like doll’s dresses, drawing my favorite characters from tv, sculpting cakes with mud, making cards for my friends, making jewelry, knitting and sewing, etc, etc.

I was told artists were poor, for that reason I became a teacher. I had no idea how to became and artist. At university, I did my bachellor in science, but, still not happy.
3 years ago I entered the Pasadena Chalk Festival for the first time.
I won the category of the best rendition of a master piece on 2019.
The same year I won second prize at Monrovia Chalk festival. This year I decided to start my own single coorporacion and I am currently building my art bussines as a muralist and taking art classes online at different places.
I am an artist who loves all creative expressions, chalk, oils, craft, beads and I create purposeful and colorful projects for families and charities. I also donate murals to public schools making the kids interacting with me during the making process. My goal is to donate a school mural per month. I work with schools and help them to accomplish their art projects working as a team with the art teachers and students.
